Start with search intent, not just keywords
Ranking for a keyword means little if the page does not give the searcher what they came for. Before touching a page I identify the intent behind the query (informational, commercial, transactional or navigational) by studying what already ranks on Google and Bing. Each page is then built around one clear intent and one primary topic, which avoids keyword cannibalization, where your own pages compete against each other.
The anatomy of a well-optimized page
Title tag
Written for the click: the primary keyword near the front, a clear benefit and a length that avoids truncation.
Meta description
A compelling summary that earns the click. It is not a direct ranking factor, but it affects click-through rate.
Headings
One H1 and logical H2 and H3 headings that mirror how people ask questions and make the page easy to scan.
Body content
Original, complete and genuinely helpful, covering the topic more usefully than competing pages.
Internal links
Descriptive anchor text pointing to related pages, spreading authority and guiding visitors.
Images
Compressed files, descriptive file names and accurate alt text for accessibility and image search.
URL structure
Short, readable, relevant URLs without clutter.
Schema
Matching structured data such as Article, FAQ, Service or Product to clarify the page’s purpose.
How I optimize your pages
Keyword research
I build a keyword list grouped by topic and intent using Ahrefs, Semrush and Search Console data.
Page mapping
Each keyword group is assigned to one page: existing, improved or new.
Content gap analysis
I compare your page with top results to see which questions, subtopics and details are missing.
Optimize and write
Titles, headings, copy, links and images are updated, or a detailed brief is written for your content team.
Measure
I track impressions, clicks, positions and conversions in Search Console and GA4, then refine.
Content quality matters more than keyword density
There is no magic keyword percentage. Search engines reward pages that show real experience, accuracy and usefulness. I focus on clear answers, specific examples, up-to-date facts and a structure that people and AI assistants can easily quote, rather than stuffing phrases into paragraphs.
